Dave Ramsey on the Difference Between Credit Unions and Banks

What is the difference between credit unions and banks? These days credit unions offer most, if not all the services traditionally offered by banks.

Credit unions will tell you that they are not-for-profit which means the profits are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates and fewer fees.

Bankers will tell you that credit unions have an unfair advantage because they offer all the services banks do, and do not have all of the tax limitations or limitations in their field of membership as they once did.

Who better to settle the argument than the independent financial educator, Dave Ramsey.

Listen to what Dave Ramsey has to say about the difference between credit unions and banks in his recent radio show.

Dave Ramsey is right!! Credit Unions just seem more focused on their members best interests than the banks do.
