South Branch Nearing Completion

Signs are going up and the drive-thru lanes are looking complete on the newest Allegiance Credit Union located in South Oklahoma City. Allegiance plans on opening its fifth location in January and will be located at 12200 S. Western. The new branch will offer five drive-thru lanes plus a 24-hour ATM. Branch Manager Kerri Campbell is pictured above with the new branch.

Earnie the Eagle celebrates Downtown in December
Allegiance participated in the lighting of the Christmas tree in Downtown Oklahoma City on Friday, November 28th. Earnie the Eagle enjoyed the festivities with several children and even Santa Claus. Friends and family gathered downtown for fun and music to kick off Downtown in December, a month long holiday celebration. Earnie the Eagle experienced the excitement of the Christmas season when Mayor Mick Cornett lit the beautifully adorned Christmas tree in Bricktown.

Congratulations FPU Graduates!
Congratulations to the fall 2008 Financial Peace University class for completing the 13 week course at Allegiance. Financial Peach University (FPU) is a is a life-changing program that teaches you how to make the right decisions with your money. There have been several success stories right here at Allegiance Credit Union! The FPU class is offered throughout the year at our Edmond, Main and soon-to-be-open Southside Branch. Allegiance Attends the Greatest Homecoming on Earth!
The University of Central Oklahoma Celebrated the "Greatest Homecoming on Earth" this past weekend and Allegiance was excited to be part of the celebration in the Homecoming parade. Earnie caught photos with Buddy the Broncho and the circus themed parade drew in a good crowd. Allegiance is proud to be a part of the Edmond community!

High Flyers Childcare Center Tours Credit Union
Edmond's HIgh Flyers Childcare Center toured the Edmond Branch on July 14th. The children learned about the operation of a credit union, played games, and enjoyed refreshments.

Earnie's Corner Now Open in Edmond
Earnie's Corner, a special area created for the credit union's younger members, is designed so children can have a fun experience depositing money into their accounts. Named after the credit union's mascot- "Earnie the Eagle" - Earnie's Corner features a mural with pictures of Earnie. When a child walks up to the area, they are able to pick up a phone to speak with a teller, while seeing them in the monitor. They can send their money up in a tube that

Create a See-Through Budget that your Children can Learn
How much is a trillion? If you had a tightly packed stack of $1000 bills, $1 million would make a four-inch stack, $1 billion would cover the length of a football field and $1 trillion would make a stack 63 miles into the sky.
Those visual images are easy to understand and explain. Are the messages we send to our children about money this clear?
